on tap at the brewpub in Burlingame, CA; beautiful clear reddish-amber color; toasted caramel malt aroma; smooth and silky; toasted caramel malt and floral hop flavor; well balanced; dry, bready finish AleDrinker (1089) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 19, 2007
Pours copper with a thin but lasting head. Aromas of caramel, toasted bread, and hops. Flavor is huge malt with a good dose of bitterness. Strikes a very nice balance on my tongue. Full-bodied with a smooth bitter finish. Excellent. cole45 (21) - USA - JAN 15, 2007
Had this as part of an 8 beer flight. Great malt flavor with very strong bitter hop finish that hangs around.
