On tap at Eugene Brewery. Pours brown gold with a beige head and clings. Aroma is mostly toasted malt with some caramel and nuttiness. Similar taste but some hops in the finish. Caramel linger. Creamy palate.

On tap at Irvine. Color was dark auburn. Aroma wasn’t very strong. Flavor was much more pronounced and solid. Fruit, red malt w/ a bit of earth and some floral.

Sampled in Eugene. A pretty good amber. Pours dark with a thin head. Has a lot of crisp maltiness. Very refreshing on a warm day. Great brew.

A nice reddihs amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with decent c-hops. In mouth, a good nutty ale with c-hops, grapefruit, medium bodied. Good ale. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 17 2009.
