Sampled at the Great American Beer Festival on September 17, 2010. Golden body, bubbly white head. Aroma of serious grainy rye, moderately hopped. Palate is a little softer than the aroma lets on. Sweeter than the aroma lets on as well. Bitter rye numbness on the tongue. gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 9, 2010
On tap at Eugene Brewery. Pours a cloudy honey with a minimal beige head. Aromas of rye, yeast, floral and fresh orange. Creamy palate. Surprisingly good. Tastes of bread, some citrus, florals, well-balanced. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2009

Hop and fruit aromas. Amber coloured strong in alcohol and hoppy with a little dryness in a crisp malt finish. jake65 (3695) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - FEB 15, 2008
Draft @ KLCC Microbrew Festival: Pours a pale gold color with a small white head. Aroma is floral hops and moderate malty sweetness. Flavor begins with a little hoppiness, mostly florals, and finished with a sour lagery malt tail. Didn’t pick up on the rye much, unless this sour malt thing was the idea. A big let down after sampling the strong ale earlier in the festival.
