   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20

Pours a ruby red beer with a stable off-white head. Appearance is the best aspect about this beer. Aroma: cherry candy. Taste: sweet with a sweet finish. Palate: effervescent, full body. I consider this to be a sweet dubbel instead of a bock.

Tap @ Restaurant De Loocatie, Heiloo 2017. (Bokkentocht 2017). Deze bock ruikt vrij neutraal maar heeft een mooie donkerrode ambere kleur. Waardoor je al meteen zin krijgt. De smaak is vrij zoet met oa karamel, basterd suiker en een gemiddelde bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark clear brown with a mall tan head and an aroma of weet malts, toffee, overripe fruits and a hoppy twist. The taste is medium sweet with some bitter and malty complexities.

Bottle at home. Thick tan head that gives way to a thin lacing. Notes of dried fruit, caramel, sugar, light spices. Medium body, light carbonation and a sugary sweet finish.

Definitely strong and definitely easy to drink with its nuts and caramel behind some yeasty start. Thick and warming without being to earthy or roasty. Not bad.

From the bottle poured into Trapist glass. Nice smooth foamy head and clear hazelnut Brown color. Nose of roasted malt and some floral sweetish hints. Taste is rich malty, slightly alcoholic warmth. Sweetness in the finish... Very good beer...

MindSlip (15) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2016

Moderate malty, toffee, caramel, toast, dried fruits.
Ruby/brown beer with a small off-white head.
Medium/heavy sweet, malts, caramel, toffee, dried fruits.
