I was rather disappointed by this Blonde beer by Steenbrugge. It was a very low aromatic beer and not at all satisfactory.

Had the beer as Brabante Oro. I dont know why the beer is aliased as Steenbrugge Blond, but it should be true. The beer looks simple. The color of the beer is golden yellow and there is a slight haze. On top, a. Ice layer of rather rough white foam is formed. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly, leaving a thin soft drape. The smell of the beer is nice, not very special though. I smell some sweeter malts, some doughy and rather sweet yeast and some slightly bitter hops. Not more than that. Its just a simple Belgian Ale, like palm ore something like that. The taste of the beer is simple but nice to. Some banana and doughy yeast, some malts and slightly bitter hops. Not bad. The palate is avarage. Avarage body, medium high carbonation and rather short but nice finish. All in all, a good beer but not to special.

Cask Half Pint JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - 6% version for Festival - Pale Gold in colour. Quite spicy; peppery. Fruity; citrus and tropical fruits. Slightly smoky aroma & taste. Syrupy. Hoppy; Goldings, Magnet & Target hops. Sweetish spicy fruity smoky with a quite bitter edge. OK. Drinkable. (2012-10-31)

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish malt, spicy yeast, spices, bit sugary. Flavour is medium sweet with a little bitterness. Body is medium. Sweet with sugary and spicy notes. Not my favourite kind of Belgian Ale.

Kolor jasnej herbaty, opalizuj?cy, klarowny. Piana jest bia?a, sporych rozmiarw, drobno ziarnista i przyzwoicie trwa?a. Pozostawia sporo zdobien, znacz?? ka?dy ?yk Aromat wytrawny i owocowy, g?wnie bia?e winogrona, dalej pieprz i odrobina nut korzennych. Smak jest podobnie jak aromat wytrawny, lekko kwaskowy, s? bia?e owoce pieprz i przyprawy, do?? rwno. Na finiszu goryczka, sucha i nieco ostra, idealnie pasuje do charakteru piwa. Wysycenie wysokie, tutaj odpowiednie.

From Carrefour Huelva. Labeled as Brabante Oro. In Teku glass. Watching Los Soprano 3x05-06. A good belgian pale ale, with to adequate amount of sugaryness to be tasty yet not cloying. Reminds me an affligem. Too foamy, had to pour it in 2 times

Apple juice aromas. Initially large white head atop a light golden, slightly hazed body. Sweet malt and fruit. A touch yeasty. 8/10
