Very sparkling, cloudy yellow golden colour. Small white head. Very bitter and yet sugary aroma. Fruity taste and a very versatile palate with hints of caramel, roast, a mild bitterness and pear. Definitely worth its (high) price.

koenmachiel (29) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2012
Very beautiful whirling pearls, very lively beer. Full head, thick. Strong hints of yeast and alcohol. Full body. Wait-a-minute-let-me-knock-you-down-kind-of beer. Nice.

Aroma: traditional , good balanced Belgian yeast with good sweet sided malts, sweet , hint of hibiscus with semi dry alcohol.7+
Look: clear deep golden with medium lighter white top.
Taste: medium full bodied. Quiet soft , even oily with nice mellow sweetnes. Slight herbal hop notes, slight fruity side to it. Very drinkable. Dangerusly. One of mest mellow sesion like Tripel ale on market.

Served on draft at the 3rd Annual Top of the Hops, Charlottesville, 9/22/12. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy head. Fair head retention. Aroma of big cloves, spice, bready malts, stone fruits, melon and caramel. The taste is herbal hops, sweet bready malts, caramel and a spicy finish. Medium bodied.

coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Draft with impromptu dinner at the Dutch last night. Bright golden yellow in the glass. Sparkles. Steady active carbonation yields a lasting white head Strong nose of unspecific herbs and grass. Low rolling body of sweet malts and solid presence of herbs thru-out mouthfeel. Finish is so gentle and slow you don’t notice it. Fantastic with chicken.
