Bottle from AEON Mall liquor shop. Yeasty, floral nose, with stone fruit and light spice. Dark blonde color, with a thick, full, lasting head. Spicy and lightly citrusy, with apples and a sugary note. Medium-full body, thickly overcarbonated and rough on the tongue. Quite alcoholic, too. Fairly complex and interesting nose, but flavors are not so interesting. The very evident alcohol also interferes.

Small sample given to me by Dave at Blackback. Haven’t been searching out any Belgians the last 7 years but this one wasn’t terrible. Notes are huge on cherry, fig, marzipan, oak, Belgian spice and yeast. Really rich and amaretto forward. Medium to fuller mouth, light carb

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A shining golden orange beer ; light opaque ; big white foamy head ; medium retention ; good lacing. Roast, biscuit, alcohol, light spice, herb, flower, light lemon. Medium dry bitter refreshing ; light sweet; warming background. Good body, light silky texture, average good carbonation, sweet very warming finish. Overall, a pleasant one. Nice floral herbal fruity character ; heavy warming.

Rating #1115, flaske fra The Bottle Shop i Brügge

Bottle - pours gold with White head. Aroma is spicey, berry and bit citrus. Taste is fruity up front but the dry finish is a bit metallic. Fizzy carbonation.
