Bottle:   Dull straw, slight haze, not very white, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Dull spiced wheaty nose.   Yup, dull wheatiness on the tongue.   Falls off quick.   A little spritzy.   More in common with American example, not all that flavorful.   Marginal witbier at best.   A little mealy as it warms.   Meh... rakkasan (142) - Bresso, ITALY - JAN 2, 2010
bottle - pours a hazy straw color with a small white head, vanilla and citrus aroma. The taste is quite bready and sour with a hint of spice in the finish. A very ordinary wit. imissmy64oz (21) - - DEC 28, 2009
Cork popped, served in a hoegaarden glass. Odors of oranges and hints of lemons, Cloudy light yellow almost off white in appearance. Taste light crisp and refreshing. Heavily carbonated with a light body. Overall not the best Wit Ive had. Medium tier wit not worth the price, Had it following the Lost Abbey Witches Wit and it was blown away by the Lost Abbey. Light yellow colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Orange dominates in this spicy aroma, rather sweet for my nose. Medium bodied. Flavor is more grainy, but still lemon dominates, same spiciness comes up here too. Aftertaste turns to somehow biting with grains and lemon still. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 13, 2009
Foggy yellow, darker mustard in the center of the glass. Small fizzy head left a tiny ring around the edge and didn’t even cover the entire top of the beer. Perfumey overrides waxy undertones. Light, some lemon, seems plain and dead. Little too much spice on the finish to be refreshing.

Kind of boring, really. Pours cloudy golden with white head. Flavor is light lemon, some lime and mostly water. Aroma is skunk - which tells me a bit about the history of this bottle. Meh. Again, I don’t think this is a ’31.’ It’s not horrible - even skunked its a decent wit. It could use some refining, but its not horrible. Hermod (7695) - Vantaa, FINLAND - NOV 23, 2009
33cl bottle from Alko, (20.11.09). Pours a hazy yellow color, huge white head. Mostly lemon in aroma. Flavor is also mostly lemon with some herbs. Fizzy mouthfeel, quite similar to many other witbeers I have tried. Refreshing.

lemony and sour, typical witbier. nothing special no surprises. salty. yellowish hazy with a white head. hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2009
Bottle (dregs)… Cloudy pear-colored ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Fantastic retention. The restrained aroma is of lightly-toasted grains and lemon zest. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Spicy clove phenol, lightly-toasted grain sweetness and yeasty breadiness in the flavor. The sweetness and breadiness are somewhat diminished. Mildly bitter, dry finish. Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - AUG 28, 2009
0.33 l bottle from Alko. Hazy yellow color, very fizzy. Dry, herbal, grapefruity, lemony and peppery aroma. The flavor follows closely the aroma. The mouthfeel is oily yet fizzy. The aroma and flavor is quite nicely herbal and citrusy but the carbonation is too filing.
