Pours a golden, clear color, with a stable, big white head. Offers an utmost herbal hop aroma atop of crackery malts, together with rich straw. Has a nice, doughy tartness to it, enhancing the strawy foundation of the beer. Has a bubbly carbonation, with a crisp, pleasantly bitter finish, creating the desired refreshment. Offers wet leafs from the beginning with soft straw and bready malts, slowly turning more and more toffeeish, gently handled by an aqueous quality. Among a lively carbonation, hops unfold their true potential, focussing on spicy, dry herbs, coated by wet leaves and slightly sweeter, straw entangled malts. Finishes with a coppery bitter quality, wrapped up by toffee malts, leaving the palate in a clean fashion, with a prominent dryness. Altough the beer produces a dry, herbal hop presence, it gets effectivly mellowed by a strawy softness. Features your typical, old school Pils profile, but extremely well and clean executed.

Malzig-herber Abgang. Nicht sehr starkes, aber beraus angenehmes Pils. Test vom 26.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,11,12,12,11,12 - 11,60

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy, foamy white head. Light-sweet, pale malty aroma with herbal, slightly grassy hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft to medium carbonation. Soft malty base with rather strong and a bit imbalanced herbal notes; dry, slightly malty, bitter hoppy finish. A bit average but still drinkable Pilsener.
