From old tasting notes. Brilliant deep gold color. Big rocky white head. Light hop aroma with an obvious grainy character. Zesty sweet malt flavor has decent body. Semi dry finish. Brief dry hop aftertaste. BREWMUSKCLES (2769) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 5, 2009
better than moderate in flavor it is mostly malt and moderately sweet with basically cane sugar. a bit of fruit as one would expect from a mainly malt brew it none the less has a bit of dishwater in its suprisingly different tasting foamy head. not my particular cup of tea but still a respectable brew of sustantive properties. revans (47) - Salem, Ohio, USA - MAR 1, 2009
Another decent beer for the money. Love the inside bottle caps. Try figuring those out after a few! grandet (501) - Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2009
Transfering from notes. Bottle. Amber color pour with an off white head. Some hops, balanced by light hops on the nose. Taste is well balanced with some nice hops lingering at the end. JoeMcPhee (10187) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 3, 2009
Tap at Standing Bar. Amber beer. Aroma is pretty weak. Pale malts with a light maize and toasted malt character. Softly herbal hoppiness though and a lightly industrial character. Not terrible, but not great either.

Bottle. Dark golden color - clear. Good. Decent ammount of hoppiness and malt - still clean tasting. Much better than mass market US lagers. Guinness4Duff (515) - Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA - JAN 29, 2008
This is pretty good for a cheap lager, which i know isnt really saying much, but if you want to drink alot of cheap berr, its not a bad choice. salzy (14) - USA - AUG 14, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2007 Tastes like pretzels. This used to be really good. I haven’t had a good case in years. It used to be 2 cases of bottles for $18.57. Now it’s that for one and not as good. I am going to NEPA to get a case soon, maybe it will be better. pbjclimber (150) - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Flavor is of corn, some sweet and roasted malt, and a little hops. This is not a great beer, but it is drinkable. JPDIPSO (6317) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUN 11, 2007
Golden color with a taller somewhat lasting off-white head. A creamy aroma that I can’t quite get a handle on. A doughy sweet bread seems to come to mind. Light caramel and a touch of toasted malt in the front. Simple flavors throughout. a touch of sweet herbs check the malts. Fairly standard lager.
