A really nice lager. Outstanding off tap!! Almost wheatish tasting.... I dig the maltiness and semi-sourdoughy flavor. Unique, no doubt. Only place I have ever had this is at Zeno’s @ Penn State. Ah, I remember many a night slamming pitchers of this delightful stuff..... Kevbo99 (149) - Dunmore, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2002

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2004 I one day picked this hidden gem up at the beer distributor for slightly cheaper than Yuengling Lager...and to my surprise it tasted better than Yuengling Lager. Nice Amber Color, very nice maltiness, a little hint of hops, overall a well balanced flavor... NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - MAR 7, 2002
Very good lager. Clear amber color. Very malty, which surprised me a bit. I like the flavor balance. I still don’t think it beats a Yuengling.

And i thought Victorys all malt lager was good. Very confusing beer. Cloudy yellow lager, however the cloudiness was only the top half of the beer, for the bottom was a clear yellow. Aroma was yeasty and malty, head was small but lingering. Tasted like warm bread... very strong yeasty flavor... excellent i thought. Very light hop finish. So easy to drink and so very good. My new favorite lager.
