tap at JK O’Donnells - The pub replaced their Warbird Mustang Gold (out of business) with this beer. It’s another pale lager and is about what I expected. It’s light and boring, but at least manages to not be as weak and watery as many examples of the style. Palatable, but it’s not one I’ll buy again. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - FEB 10, 2010
[Bottle] Pours a yellow color with a nice looking white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. The taste was of grass and sweet malts. Palate and mouthfeel was about how I expected it to be. Light in body and flavor, but no glaring flaws either. dkoonce (911) - People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA - NOV 14, 2009
Very pale, with a loose white head. Raw barley aroma, and not much else. Light, crisp and raw. Not much good and not much bad. Just a plain beer. Braudog (6898) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Bottle. Aptly named ... quite pale, clear, still. Smooth, somewhat sweet-bread-like, just a dash of lemon grass. Unoffending. (#3642, 8/16/2009) cheap (6202) - CHINA - AUG 15, 2009
UPDATED: APR 9, 2017 My bottle just said stegmaier gold. Pale lager look, few bubbles. Sweet slag aroma, somewhat like grandmas old permanent treatment but sweeter. Scum on top. A mild pale lager with few ill taste trifles. Friendly and easy. Decent carbonation. Finish holds no negative effects either, just plain good beer. Probably should be styled as a pale lager.

Bottle (Stegmaier Gold, so hopefully this is its correct place.) Pours a meaningless clear gold with a little bit of a white head. Aromas are of light malt, grass and a hint of lemon from time to time (although not consistently.) Flavor has a lot of adjunct-type maltiness to it with a bit of a grassy and biscuity finish. Not a whole lot going on here, but it’s fine enough for mowing the lawn... Lowe1983 (1656) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2009
Pours a golden color with a white. Aroma is of sweet malts, grains, and some floral hops. Flavor is pretty light with the grains up front. Crisp finish with some floral hops. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2009
Bottle from Party Source.
Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium sweet malty and grainy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with an medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 27, 2009

Transfering from notes. Bottle. Light yellow-golden pour with a medium head. Very light in aroma with malt and hops that are pretty balanced. Taste is the same, nice malt and light hops.
