smooth body with full flavors of caramel malt and different types of hops which makes it somewhat different for an ipa especially in this day and age. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Bottle pours a hazy copper with a thin white top.scent is caramel, floral. Taste is the same. TheBeerGod (6207) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Can. Shows 6.7% ABV. Translucent golden amber with a tall, fluffy beige head. Aroma is floral hops, grains, sweet malt, bread and soft citrus. Taste is floral hops, sweet malt, light caramel, toasted bread, grains and citrus notes. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation and light, lingering bitterness. Ends with more grains, toasted malt, caramel notes, citrus and floral hops. Not bad. Foxbush (2004) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 3, 2012
Purchased a six pack at Total Wine and More in Western Henrico. The beer is drinkable but not an IPA. The ale poured an attractive clear amber with a small white head. The head dissapated and left only a small white collar on the beer. This ale lacks the common caharacteristics of IPAs: like bitterness and higher alcohol. This is a medium body ale with average carbonation FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy off-white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was caramel and faint floral and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter and dryish with hints of caramel, floral hops, fruity hops and pepper. Medium finish and body. Eh.

12oz. Bottle: Very faint aroma of malt and hops. Poured amber in color with a small, white head that disappeared quickly, except for around the edges. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Some small-sized, particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, herbs, and vegetables. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, medium bitter, malt, hop finish. LinusStick (3444) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2012
I love reading a beer’s commercial description before I drink it. This beer is one that makes me think, "did some marketing guy write this description without even trying the beer?" Tastes like a skunked European green bottle lager. Sweet syrup in the front with an astringent medicinal aftertaste. Flavors are hard to pick out other than those mentioned and the beer was a muddled mess. Sweet at first and nasty in the finish. Decent carbonation. Draft at Sugar Moms. Clear dark amber with a pillowy head. Well blended tangy hops. Ginger fruits. Better than expected. Still a narrow range of flavors, but well worth a try. Braudog (6671) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle. Clear orange and bright, moderately active, bubbles rising to to a nice cushiony head. This doesn’t put much of an aroma, maybe just a hint of tropical fruit. It drinks with a bit of a spicy edge, earthy and ripe, actually pretty good. I think this is underrated and is a victim of prejudice to the source. Bottle. The last stop of my shitty ticker beer tour this evening. Orange copper with small white head. Nose is pine, herbal, citrus, grain. Flavor is similar, good balance between bitter and grains, but both are rather dull. Sorta soapy and peppery finish.
