Small offwhite head, fair retention and lace. Lightly hazy, orange/gold hued brew. Nose of spicey hops, pinesol and some grains. Body is lightly medium, decent carbonation, light resin. Decent hop flavors, citrus, pine with some lightly sweet malts backin,m up. Lil bready malts and now some medicinal notes showin up. Lightly sweet finish with little perceivable bitterness in the finish. Gotta watch out for that bitter finish! Suprisingly Drinkable. Bottle from statelineliquors. Bottle. Pours dark orange without much on the nose. Taste is pure bitterness. Not very interesting. Clean finisher. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2012 Wow, a lot of negatives here! This is a malty IPA with good hop aroma and moderately bitter flavors in a bready but well-palated package. Why all the hate? Excellent price. Great conditioning and looks like a typical amberish IPA. Cakes (428) - New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2011
12 oz. Bottle.
A nice copper brown color, with a hoppy taste that does not bite.
Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2011
12oz bottle from the $10 sampler-12. Clear orange color, thin white head. Overly fruity tasting and somewhat syrupy. Tastes appropriately cheap. A boring IPA, possibly the worst of this style (out of ~20) that I’ve tried yet.

Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edge. Aroma was slight pine but mainly sweet grains. Flavor also had a slight bitter pine note but sweet bread and grains were the dominate notes for this beer. Thanks for bringing back the 12 pk from Penn. Well, I wasn’t expecting much hops in this steg IPA; just some mild imitation of an IPA. But I was wrong, this stuff is on style and better in style than many microbrew IPA I’ve had, very surprized! Big hoppy pine or spruce aroma. Taste is big bitter hops blast. Yes, a very terribly on style IPA. Barely any co2. Oily soapy mouth coating nastiness. Roto-till my palte, will yah? Waytoo much for this lager loven tongue, WEW! Big bitter linger, borders on double IPA territory! r464 (2360) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2015 Very nutty and malty. A hoppy aroma with a floral leaning. Slightly bitter, hops filled flavor, lots of sweetness, somewhat floral. Hints of lemon peel. Really lacking the hops punch I would expect in an IPA. MrBunn (2810) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2011
Bottle. Well... this one poured a light golden color with little head and aromas of grain dust and apple juice with a little caramel/toffee. Flavor is sweet junk... apples and silo dust with no hops apart from a faint herbal presence that comes and goes weakly as it pleases. Tastes like a mediocre amber ale with a little herbal hops. jb (3221) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 17, 2011
Light pleasant lemony nose with a bit of spiciness. Beautiful looking hazy amber/light amber with nice head and retention. Malty palate starts a bit light on hops, has caramel, then a bit of hoppiness towards the end. More how I like my APA’s then IPA’s, but good.
