Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration.

Drake (14033) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 1, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of resin hops with nutty, toasted malts. The taste is bitter resin hops, some citrus and pale malts. Medium bodied. Decent.

deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 21, 2010
Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edge. Aroma was slight pine but mainly sweet grains. Flavor also had a slight bitter pine note but sweet bread and grains were the dominate notes for this beer.

DocLock (10830) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2014
bottle. Pours copper with off-white head. Caramel malt and hops in the nose, with a malt forward flavor paired with subdued hops and some tropical fruit flavors. OK, not great.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2011
12oz bottle from the $10 sampler-12. Clear orange color, thin white head. Overly fruity tasting and somewhat syrupy. Tastes appropriately cheap. A boring IPA, possibly the worst of this style (out of ~20) that I’ve tried yet.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7915) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy off-white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was caramel and faint floral and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter and dryish with hints of caramel, floral hops, fruity hops and pepper. Medium finish and body. Eh.

Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 13, 2012
Bottle 355 ml
Aroma: malty , woody front , hint of alcohol warmth. 6-
Appearance: clean amber with medium white top. Some lace shown.
Palate / Taste: Golden malt with caramel side. Slight mineral feel that followed. Empty finish. Poor man’s amber perhaps?

Braudog (6781) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle. Clear orange and bright, moderately active, bubbles rising to to a nice cushiony head. This doesn’t put much of an aroma, maybe just a hint of tropical fruit. It drinks with a bit of a spicy edge, earthy and ripe, actually pretty good. I think this is underrated and is a victim of prejudice to the source. (#4572, 4/22/2012)

mansquito (6695) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 1, 2012
Draft Barn, Brooklyn tap ($6): Purchased this as Lionshead IPA, but this appears to be the same beer according to my research, but if not, please correct me. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is bland and normal IPA. Taste is attenuated IPA. There ain’t nothing in here that you wouldn’t or shouldn’t expect.

3.2
kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a nice frothy one inch head that left some nice lacing. The nose shows some decent citrusy hops, but there’s a too sweet crystal malt base behind them that makes me think that this isn’t going to be great. Nicely bitter, rather surprisingly so even, with some crystal malt but not a terrible amount. Still a little too sweet overall, but it’s better than most of the Lion’s efforts. Medium bodied, a touch sticky on the back end with fizzy carbonation. Could be better, but it’s not bad.
