12oz. Bottle from b3shine. Pours clear amber with small white head. Sweetish grainy malts, light fruity, mild toasted. It is what it is. On my phone so this is short.
Pours hazy amber with a very quick head. Nose is a little boozy with a good bit of fall spice. Flavor is similar and shallow with a very strong alcohol profile considering it’s relatively low content. Finish is cloves and a little spice. Very unbalanced and heavy for the style. Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a nice copper/deep amber color with a one finger fizzy just off white head. The head fades quite quickly leaving only a very light foam on the top of the brew and a light persistent foam floating atop the brew.
Smell – The smell is of a roasted malt with a good dose of caramel sweetness. Other sweeter aromas of some apple and a bit of cherry as well as some aromas of a more spicy nature with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg round out the smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a bit of a roasted malt and a rather strong caramel sweetness. These flavors create a base for the beer lasting, throughout the entire taste. As the flavor advances from the beginning to the end, light flavors of apple and some spice comes to the tongue. In the end, a little bit of a citrus and herbal hop taste comes to the tongue with a slight intensification in the roasted malt flavors, leaving a somewhat sweet but lightly roasted and spiced flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner to average side with a carbonation level that is a bit on the higher side. A little thicker of a body and a slightly lower carbonation may have been better for the roasted malt flavors of the beer, but the combination of the two (thickness and carbonation) did do a nice job for the sweet and fruity flavors of the brew, so overall it was quite acceptable.
Overall – A rather enjoyable and quite easy drinking oktoberfest that comes at a great price. Rather nice overall. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Definitely better Oktoberfests out there in the world. Drank out of a bottle so couldn’t tell you the appearance. Hope to have it at the Brewery sometime in the near future. unclemike (3115) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - SEP 7, 2013
NOt very good at all. Light caramel colored. Some malt, and very thin overall. This one was dialed in and lacks the palate and full bodied malt of a higher-quality oktoberfest. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - FEB 22, 2013
THOUGHTS: Not bad, but not great either. Nice and sweet but not enough hops to balance all the malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium amber with a small, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had lots of different malts. There was heavy, dark bread, cookie, toasted, caramel, sugar water, honey, cake, and graham cracker like malts. There was also light grassy hops and slight cardboard. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was heavily sweet and lightly bitter with an average duration. The medium body was syrupy and lightly fizzy with a dry and slightly astringent finish.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Virginia Beach. Pours a clear copper color with a foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, candied citrus, toasted malts. The taste is toasted caramel malts, anise, faint fruits, mild hops. Medium bodied. Generic, but solid. Kobal (64) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Rich amber color with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is malty with a little banana and some disruption by something else (almost agave or smokiness). Somewhat thin bodied and quick finishing, it has tastes of dry grain and corn with a little booziness coming through even though it’s not a particularly high abv. Less expensive than some Oktoberfests on the shelf next to it, but tastes it. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Bottle from b3shine. Poured clear brown color with a minimal frothy off-white head that was mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations where met. 12oz bottle. Pours a deep orange/amber color, with a medium to this white head. Nose of sweet matl and cramel. Creamy mouthfeel, taste on the sweet side, with some hops around there somewhere. A nice Oktoberfest.
