reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Pours a clear caramel/amber with a medium white head. Aroma has nice fall spices, a touch of caramel and mild doughy notes. Flavor follows suit and adds a nice touch of earthy hops. Mouthfeel is full and the finish is fall spices lingering to dry leaves/earthy hops. Really fairly decent as the non-imperial pumpkins go.

3.2
chinchill (5311) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 16, 2013
Undated 12 oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours clear, orange-copper color with a modest and weak bone-colored head. Spices are more subtle than in many pumpkin beers. There is a clear suggestion of pumpkin pie along with a pronounced caramel malt component. Sweet but not cloying. Feel: Light-medium body seems too thin; Medium, prickly carbonation. Slight heat from the cinnamon. O: A tasty and solid pumpkin ale, but not up with the best of style.

ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 2, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small white head. Strong spicy aroma dominated by cinnamon and nutmeg. Pumpkin flavor takes a back seat to the spices; lots of cinnamon and nutmeg; faint caramel notes, slight bitter finish. Medium bodied with mild carbonation.

Good nose with pumpkin pie and fruity spice. Medium-dark orange amber hue with small head that fully diminished. Good spicy nutmeg flavor. Not bad and the better of the pumpkin plague I’ve had this seaso

3.2
Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - MAR 28, 2013
THOUGHTS: Great for the price. Full of flavor and with the relatively low ABV it’s quite easy to drink. Not spectacular, but possibly the best by the dollar of all the pumpkin beers. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light, orangey amber with an average, slightly off-white head that mostly diminished. There aroma contained light caramel; pumpkin pie spices; and fruity pumpkin. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and ever-so-slightly sour ; while the finish was moderately sweet, lightly sour and slightly bitter with a short duration. The medium body was fairly watery with very fizzy carbonation and a dry and slightly chalky finish.

5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Bottle:   Amber, thin sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Dull spices on the nose, dull pumpkin pie (crust and filling).   Fairly dull and a bit mealy on the tongue.   Feels a bit sweaty, wet sock perhaps.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft, dull spices linger.   Not bright at all, and has a mustiness or stale aspect that detracts a bit.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Virgina Beach. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large foamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Big spice aroma with a bit of sweet pumpkin. The taste is tart pumpkins, caramel and a pumpkin spice finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

bierkitty (183) - Elysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Great aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon. It’s a shame the flavor doesn’t measure up. A bit watery and bland.

3.2
FROTHINGSLOSH (8139) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-caramel color with a medium sized orange-tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sour and tangy with strong nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor was tangy, bready and earthy with definite pumpkin and moderate notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. There was a light toasted caramel undertone. Medium length tangy caramel, bread and cinnamon. Solid.

Shared a 12oz bottle. Poured a medium orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was spices, some pumpkin notes. Flavor was pumpkin notes, pie characteristics there too. About average but drinkable.
