Bottle. Poured clear orange copper color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid doughy pumpkin pie aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer is what you would expect. 12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Virgina Beach. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large foamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Big spice aroma with a bit of sweet pumpkin. The taste is tart pumpkins, caramel and a pumpkin spice finish. Medium bodied. Decent. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2016
12oz bottle. Poured an amberish color with a smaller sized head. I like my pumpkin beers with pumpkin and less spices. I would say this one was all about the pumpkin spices - so if you like that, then try this. DocLock (10973) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2015

Shared a 12oz bottle. Poured a medium orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was spices, some pumpkin notes. Flavor was pumpkin notes, pie characteristics there too. About average but drinkable. JaBier (8178) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 18, 2012
Bottle purchased at Party Source. Clear orange/amber color with a medium off-white head. Malty nose with some dankness and muted spice. Flavor starts spicy with ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg accents, then some malt jumps in, then the spices are back for the finish. Didn’t love the smell on this one, but the flavor was decent. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-caramel color with a medium sized orange-tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sour and tangy with strong nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor was tangy, bready and earthy with definite pumpkin and moderate notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. There was a light toasted caramel undertone. Medium length tangy caramel, bread and cinnamon. Solid. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Bottle:   Amber, thin sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Dull spices on the nose, dull pumpkin pie (crust and filling).   Fairly dull and a bit mealy on the tongue.   Feels a bit sweaty, wet sock perhaps.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft, dull spices linger.   Not bright at all, and has a mustiness or stale aspect that detracts a bit. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear orange body with a one finger fizzy off-white head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is overloaded with spices, tons of cinnamon and nutmeg, some lesser vanilla. Not a whole lot of pumpkin, but there is some. The flavor is pretty well what I was expecting from the aroma, very spicy with a slight caramel sweetness. The flavor more hints at pumpkin pie rather than showing off a whole lot of pumpkin flavor. Rather thin body, fizzy prickly carbonation. Lacking in body and actual pumpkin flavor, this pretty well sums up what gives Pumpkin Beers a bad rap.
