UPDATED: SEP 21, 2017 Review for mid strength 3.5%ABV version. Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised for what it is. Served cold, fresh, grassy, some chemical chalkiness, gassy and good bitterness. O.K.

Good go to beer if crafts are not present. On tap is the way to go with this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg halfpint at The Stag, Aberdeen. Pale golden colour, white head. Minimal "dusty" aroma. Dry flavour, some citrus, not much to write home about.

On tap in The Loft, Keswick, arguably not a great beer tasting venue! Light pale straw colour, little head. Clean but quite forgettable and bland, at least full strength Stella has a certain bite to it (for good or bad) but this was not that successful.

Can from B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. Pale golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a grassy and herbal flavour with a slight soapy, malty and rice-like finish. Poor.

11.2oz bottle picked up at Harmons. Labeled as Stella Artois Legere, 3.2% abw
Pours clear light golden with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma is skunky, grains and doughy. Taste is grainy, dough, honey and straw
Decent

sjogro (4648) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 21, 2017
Can on flight from Tenerife-Amsterdam. Clear golden with big white head. Sweet malts, light caramel. Light sweet and ground bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Under medium body. Soft carbonation.

Grumpelmies (326) - GERMANY - JAN 8, 2017
Can. Clear yellow/gold. Ordinary head that dissappears rather fast. Minimal aroma of hops. Taste is almost non-existent. Grainy, metallic, sweetish. Aftertaste nearly features some hoppy bitterness. Strong carbonation. Clean and watery. Triple filtered to eliminate all flavours. Super boring Euro Lager. But it’s pure bliss when served ice cold after 13 hours of driving.

250ml can (EasyJet flight)
Gold, persistent tight spongy head. Bland aroma, bit of sweet malt, deffo english not belgian. Head tastes metallic from hops. sweet bland taste, just some sweetish malts, hint of dusty hop. Quenches my thisrt a bit, but very dull. Too sweet, no bite, no crispness, no hop character.
