this beer is absolute rubbish. tried it on rose st. in Edinburgh, Scotland.

On tap in The Loft, Keswick, arguably not a great beer tasting venue! Light pale straw colour, little head. Clean but quite forgettable and bland, at least full strength Stella has a certain bite to it (for good or bad) but this was not that successful.

zacgillbanks (5299) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2017
Can from B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. Pale golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a grassy and herbal flavour with a slight soapy, malty and rice-like finish. Poor.

Sledutah (7725) - Utah, USA - APR 5, 2017
11.2oz bottle picked up at Harmons. Labeled as Stella Artois Legere, 3.2% abw
Pours clear light golden with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma is skunky, grains and doughy. Taste is grainy, dough, honey and straw

sjogro (4263) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 21, 2017
Can on flight from Tenerife-Amsterdam. Clear golden with big white head. Sweet malts, light caramel. Light sweet and ground bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Under medium body. Soft carbonation.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - JAN 8, 2017
Can. Clear yellow/gold. Ordinary head that dissappears rather fast. Minimal aroma of hops. Taste is almost non-existent. Grainy, metallic, sweetish. Aftertaste nearly features some hoppy bitterness. Strong carbonation. Clean and watery. Triple filtered to eliminate all flavours. Super boring Euro Lager. But it’s pure bliss when served ice cold after 13 hours of driving.

250ml can (EasyJet flight)
Gold, persistent tight spongy head. Bland aroma, bit of sweet malt, deffo english not belgian. Head tastes metallic from hops. sweet bland taste, just some sweetish malts, hint of dusty hop. Quenches my thisrt a bit, but very dull. Too sweet, no bite, no crispness, no hop character.

KeefOz (1861) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUL 9, 2016
Australian version at 3.5%. BB 24/01/17. Poured a crystal clear pale gold with a few millimetres of bubbly foam that diminished quickly to a collar and laced OK in rings. Carbonation very high and coarse; very active. Taste of subtle grainy malts at best. Taste is slightly malty at best and quite metallic. Light body bordering on watery. Crisp, clean, smooth but with a nothing finish.

ComradeK (1237) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 20, 2016
330ml bottle at a work function. I haven’t handed out a 0.5 rating in years, but this is quite possibly the worst beer I have ever had. The aroma is burningly alcoholic, oddly enough for a beer that is only 4% ABV, and reminiscent of cheap bourbon. There is no noticeable hops flavour or aroma, the mouthfeel is like oily cardboard, and there is powerfully unpleasant hot, alcoholic and oily hit in the finish that reminds me of shotting cheap vodka. I only drank this because I was driving and thought it might be wise to stick to light beer. All in all I think I would have been better off just getting done for DUI.

Out with the family in Frankie and Benny’s with limited choice so needs must watered down version of regular Stella metallic taste decent colour with a malty twang bland but ok for the style.
