Half-litre can. Pours a light, almost greenish yellow with a large white head. Slightly skunky. Flavour is lacking. Seriously lacking. On the good side, there’s no bad tastes, but that’s because there’s very little taste at all. I’m actually drinking it as I write this, and I still can’t detect any real flavour. Clean finish, but generally overrated. Drinkable, though.

On tap. Yellowy gold with a substantial white head. Grainy nose. Weak grain flavor. Crisp finish, and it is oddly drinkable, but not a good lager, for sure. Maybe you keep drinking it to try to find some flavor.

Smells grainy and vaguely of yeast and...I don’t know, funky somehow. It tastes even less and really isn’t hard to drink, but neither is it a pleasure. It’s a disappointment, not because of the flavour, but because of a lack thereof.

Not one of my favorites. On poured on the light side and light tasting. Had at Orange County Social Club. Skunky tin can taste and odor.

the best of the available everywhere beers in england. Usually has more flavour than the other draught lagers. Tastes like the can in a can.

kfarrnd (113) - Oldsmar, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2005
Bottle. Poured out a light gold color and with a thick white head. The aroma was a little skunky like a Becks, but I could also make out some hops character. It’s light on the palate, but not watery like most American lagers. The flavor was crisp and slightly bitter with some grains and even a little banana on the aftertaste which gave it a little character. It probably wasn’t worth over $8 for a six pack but definitely better than our domestic lagers.

Pours just like any other lager. Golden yellow with a larger white head. Odor is skunky and flavor is like a weak henne. Not worth the price by any means.

IPA (17) - Leominster, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 7, 2005
highly carbonated, yellow color. Light body and mouthfeel and noticible sourness.

1.5
Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2005
Gold color with a fizzy white head and lively carbonation. Very sweet citrusy aroma. Grassy as well. Honey almost. Eh... flavor is a sour, grassy mess. Too bitter and rough on the palate to be worth making a session of.

ontario102 (794) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 6, 2005
Grassy, wet sock aroma over a sweet pils base; rather flavorless and slightly sour; harmless, yet quite unappealing.
