I tired the argentinian version brewed by the local Quilmes brewery. Watery, flat, a little dissapointing. Better than average aroma, perhaps fresh and with grassy notes. Too pale. I agree on the unpleasant afterstate.

Pours a pale yellow gold with foamy white head. Aroma is very malty and sweet. Flavor is also very malty and watery. Taste is not very complex, but not totally flat either. Overall, a pretty plain brew.

RichJ7 (1175) - Cullman, Alabama, USA - MAR 5, 2005
Pours a clear gold with a medium-sized fluffy white head. Aroma is of sweet malt. The flavor is sweet and malty upfront with a bitter hop finish and a slightly metallic taste that is unpleasant. A decent enough beer, but the finish almost ruins it.

A watery and slightly bitter pilsner beer. Light standard colour. Very similar to Tuborg pilsner in every aspect. A refreshing but boring beer - would be fine on a hot summers day.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2005 my second most consumed beer after jupiler. again, what a waste of my time in belgium. but its quite nice. i really wouldnt mind drinking it even today if the supermarkets are not charging $14 + tax for 12 pack. damn, i used to pay like 180 belgian francs for 24 bottles. (250 ml i recall) thats like $6 for 24.

Okay, so its a mass produced crowd pleaser from a huge multinational and Im not supoposed to like it. However Im hard up this week and 24 330ml bottles cost 10.99. And its still beer. Lager hop aroma (saaz?), hint of sulphur, grass, but not unpleasant. Taste fairly flavoursome, not too bland, finish fairly hoppy. Its not that bad, far better than the Millers, Budweisers, Carlings that Ive tasted.

Bottle. I was expecting crisp and clean and maybe a little light.Instead, found it to have a citrus/metallic note that comes of as kinda skunky, further muddling a nothing special beer. Another marketing scam. I wonder if GM markets Chevy Cavaliers as luxury imports in Korea? BUY AGAIN? No

White head with golden color. Nose of the European cheap lagers. Flavor of same, very light and nothing too special. Clean finish.
