In a word: crisp. Highly carbonated, this beer pours a pale gold with a foamy bubbly head. Has a slightly bitter taste, even a little metallic - but in a good way. Feels very active in your mouth. Has a lingering aftertaste. Not too bad and almost always available.

Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is corn and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Watery and light bodied. 310311

Blond color. The aroma has some paper, and the taste is very simple, but both show a light maltiness; correct bitterness. I used to like this one more in the past, but now not really…

Test vom 19.2.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,9,10,9,8 - 8,15

Bottle at home following over a week with no beer, courtesy of Indo Chobham who gifted me this with my curry delivery last Saturday, 10/01/13. Pale golden blonde with a plethora of bubbles clinging to the edge of the glass and a thin white head. Nose is cereal, straw, light citric notes, metallic nip. Taste comprises hay, straw, cereals, corn. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, dryish grassy closure. This was pretty pap, worse then I’d remembered, not having had it for maybe 7 or 8 years? M to the E to the H !!!

Golden, with a nice and creamy head. Has a mild aroma, maybe with some almond in it. Some malts, some hops, but it could have tasted more.Has an ok palate and some bitterness in the finish.

330ml bottle. One of my favourite mass commercial lagers. It has nice distinctive hops which carry on through the beer. Could do with more flavour and the palate isn’t great, but otherwise ok

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2011 Typical pale lager, slightly bitter, with a decent bite for aftertaste. Extremely overrated, barely drinkable.
