Golden, with a nice and creamy head. Has a mild aroma, maybe with some almond in it. Some malts, some hops, but it could have tasted more.Has an ok palate and some bitterness in the finish.

chrisv10 (18599) - DENMARK - JUN 19, 2010
Bottle. Clear yellow with medium size white head. Flavour is malt, sweet and hops.

TBone (18414) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 29, 2004

Pale yellow, foamy white head. Hoppy start, some bitter in the end. Tastes lame and metallic.

Pours a slightly cloudy straw color in glass. It’s a better than average pale lager. Nose and taste is pale malts. Rated 3/9/2000

Bottled. Clear, pale golden with a nice carbonation and a decent white head. The aroma has malt, hay and some hops. Thin body with a flavor of grain, malt, grass and hay. Bland finish with some hops. Nice lacings. Nothing special to this one. (061215)

Benzai (16783) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 2, 2011
Standard golden pilsener color. Smell a little sweet for a pilsener. Taste sweet and light bitter. Decent carbo, low to medium body.

brokensail (16678) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 19, 2011
A: The beer pours a crystal clear straw color with a fizzy white head that is fairly short lived, but does cling to the glass a bit.

S: Surprisingly not very skunky. A touch of skunk, yes, but it’s mostly clean grain notes. A bit of bread and a fair amount of sweetness with a light straw and grass character. There is an ever so slight...sourness to it, however.

T: The taste is mostly just sweet and fizzy. A lot of adjunct sort of flavors and a lot of grain. Not too much real substantial malt flavor, but a little bit of pale, biscuit notes to it. Some faint hops and a mild bitterness.

M: Light in body with a rather high carbonation.

O: Though it’s easy to hate on this beer, when it’s not completely skunked, it’s not an awful one.

Yellow with white head. Little malt & hop. Thin texture. Unbelievable this is a Belgium brew. Anyway, this is in the category Average lager!

Can. Very dark colour with a blue head (I must admit the light was a bit dodgy). Boring lager with slightly more body than usual.

bhensonb (15861) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 21, 2007
Grassy hop aroma with underlying sweet light malt. Brassy gold color with a foamy white head. A bit thin bodied. Sharp carbonation bite. Starts with light maltiness, reasonably balanced by grassy hop. FInishes slightly corny and vegy. The finish is bitter, but a pilsener would be better. Though it beats .... out of Bud and friends.
