Almost Mexican tasting in it’s malt and near-spicy bitter. Prone to skunk. Not entirely bad for a macro. Nagash (207) - Paris, FRANCE - JUL 11, 2002
Watery, no taste. I was not able to really to appreciate it. Need to re-rate. Erol99 (24) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2002
Primium? I couldn’t taste anything. Sure it looks nice goes down easy, but a little too easy. Very timid.... Its a weak drink. MaxPower (961) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 3, 2002
good color and a nice head, light hop aroma, not all that good. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 6, 2002
I’m sure the original stella(if there was one) tasted exactly like this. they must have had boring lagers in the 1300’s.

Thick, bitter then sour and full of chemicals. Whoops, not 75 characters. There - that's better. haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - APR 4, 2003
UPDATED: APR 23, 2005 belgian version, very skunky, watery, some corns, not very good ..... PushEject (42) - Palmdale, California, USA - APR 16, 2003
A fancy Budweiser with a harsher bite and higher alchohol content. Typical lager clean & dry finish. A good beer if you like mass-produced American lagers, but not stellar. RichardWilding (201) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2003
This is a very dissapointing beer, so much for the reassuringly expensive advertising. It is over-rated and not something I will be rushing out to buy again. BrewEd (182) - Wilmington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2003
Pale yellow with very little head. Not much aroma to speak of; this can be said of the taste as well. A light pilsner, I can't say its objectionable, however it certainly isn't remarkable in any way.
