Not much better than the domestic Stella. Slightly more body, slightly better hops finish. Emphasis on the slightly.

Test vom 8.1.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,12,8,9,9 - 9,10

Golden, with a bubbly white head. Has a fryity and malty aroma. Flavor is rather mild, with some hops in the finish. A quite ordinary lager... (My 900:th rating)

[5.2%ABV] A good thirst quencher when you are visiting Egypt. This is cleaner than most other Egyptian beers and definately drinkable.

Stella Export is tough to find in Cairo. Its a bit yeasty, and very fizzy. I enjoyed it as its not particularly crisp or herbal. Theres a lemony/citrusy element present that adds some complexity. Nice. One of Al Ahram Brewings best.

Drank while on a Nile cruise in 2005. Light malty, bread, grassy, bit fruity hops, clear golden to yellow, bubbly white head, light sweetness, nice bitterness, touch of citrus, fizzy carbonation, smooth watery feeling, dry mildly bitter finish, a well-balanced and quite nice beer.

VertBaconStrips (2383) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - JUN 8, 2009
Lemony gold brew with a largy white rocky head, some spotty lacing and ok retention for the first half of the glass. It has some skunk to it but nothing offending while remaining fresh overall. Lemons and yeast are prominent with some malts in the background. Tastes pretty good! I was totally suprised. Decent tasty malts that are somewhat subdued, decent fruity undertones and a solid bitterness. Well balanced. Light bodied with a nice creamy enjoyable swish and right at the end , there isnt much, but a sharp hard bitterness rises up. Leaves the mouth slightly dry.
