Can shared at ZZT 10 massive thanks to Benzai. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma of cardboard, grain. Flavor is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 23, 2014
Bottle on a cruise on the Nile with Charlie. Despite Egypt’s long history of beer brewing, this is little more than water from the Nile with a little carbonation. Fairly sweet, some biscuit, and fizzy. Drinkable in a pinch, but not really enjoyable. vinivini (2233) - Gomel, BELARUS - AUG 31, 2014
Can. Smells of vague maltiness. The aroma is bready, with notes of hay & grass. Light body. Watery. Tastes lightly sweet with a bit of sourness. A weak hops bitterness is present. Abrupt watery finish. Nothing about it. Just Egypt added. Splitenz (368) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2014
Typical warm weather lager. Mild and slightly sweet with a low level hop bitterness. Quite a good thirst quencher. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2014
Bottle shared at Jack & Leighton’s Birthday Bash at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 13 April 2013. Thanks to whoever brought it along. The things we do for a country tick. Most of the time you know what you are going to get in general terms - dodgy pale lagers with varying degrees of grainy notes and a minimal hop presence, ranging between the nondescript and the vile. This one was on the right side of drinkable. But only barely. Pale gold, sweet and distinctly grainy. I’ve had worse.
