Bottle shared at Jack & Leighton’s Birthday Bash at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 13 April 2013. Thanks to whoever brought it along. The things we do for a country tick. Most of the time you know what you are going to get in general terms - dodgy pale lagers with varying degrees of grainy notes and a minimal hop presence, ranging between the nondescript and the vile. This one was on the right side of drinkable. But only barely. Pale gold, sweet and distinctly grainy. I’ve had worse.

Pours a golden color with an average white head that soon settles down to a ring around the edge.
There is hoppy aroma of avergae strength.
The taste is sinitially slightly sweet followed by a decent bitternes for a lager. Finishes nicely with enough bitterness.
Extra refreshing on the hot Egyptian sun, but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary really. Beerhunter111 (23281) - Beerland, GERMANY - JAN 12, 2014
Goldgelbes Bier mit geringem Schaum, kleine Schwebeteilchen schwimmen im Bier herum. Geruch ganz leicht malzig. Geschmack ist wässrig, gering malzig. foxo82 (936) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2013
Country #88. Bottle courtesy of Daniel Brown - cheers Dan. Nice big head on this. Not so great that I’m on the final day of Movember so that foamy head is now on my face. Smells of two pence pieces. Tastes like the shallow end at South Charnwood Leisure Centre - water, yes, but with a smorgasbord of cleaning fluids and other substances. Makes a decent moustache shampoo though. The head is medium, the body golden. It smells a bit flowery, sweet, malty. The taste is flowery, sweet, rice, malty. Overall ok for a Pale Lager. 11/9/10/9/10/9 ThirstyBird (3020) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2013
Thanks to Gabriel for sharing! Pours a clear medium yellow with a small loose head. Smell is sweet light malt, cereal. Taste is sweet, grain, marshmallows, slightly dry aftertaste. Light body with active carbonation. A typical mass market lager. Erzengel (9777) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 25, 2013
50 cl. Many thanks to Frank for bringing it from Egypt. Keinerlei Geruch. Der Antrunk ist mild-wässrig, schön frisch. Der Hauptteil ist angenehm erfrischend, kaum Körper vorhanden. Simpel, aber gut erfrischend!

12oz can brought back to Serbia by my close friend Andy, so many thanks. Another odd but predictable national lager from a less than obvious beer drinking society. Perfectly innocuous pale sweet later, with some nice characteristics. refreshing and tasty while being wet carboard and sour grapes. I’m sure in context this is refreshing and fine but from a small can in Belgrade it just is an open question mark. I would enjoy trying this in the beer’s natural habitat soon.
