Musty woodsy Apple aroma. This is very dry tart and white wine like with q cork & Apple flavor. Not my thing though once it warmed up more Apple character came though and boosted the overall score.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly/fully diminishing. Body is very light yellow. Aroma is notes of acetone, apple, ammonia. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft/flat carbonation, lightly alcoholic, lightly to moderately astringent.

This same cidery made Le Chene??? How??? This is more like Colorado Cider Co. quality stuff here...chemical odor, dirty, thin, watery...very unpleasant. An awful drain pour and highly mysterious considering how great Le Chene was. Really sad, as I thought I’d found a solid cidery here in CO, but apparently not. Doggone it.

Taste is vinous, minerals, slightly tart, pear skin, and light spice with a very dry finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Clean, dry, fruity, and easy to drink. Clear light straw with an almost methane-like aroma with a tart red apple juice background. Flavor thankfully loses that fart-like tone and brings a beer-nerdy tart sourness to the palate with some bactillic Bretty notes and a clean apple flavor, neither too sweet or too dry. Tap at Stem - a clean, crisp, moderately acidic, strongly dry cider - bright, earthy apple flavors, a hint of phenolics, and a finish of tart apple flesh and white grape skins - a light mineralic tang makes the dry finish pop even more - reminiscent of some dry, subtle basque ciders - nice.
