COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours dark brown black with nice brown head. Aroma of dark fruits, roasted, tar and chocolate. Flavor is sourish acidy, fruity citric, roasted malts, chocolate and licorice. Palate is acidy. Finishes short with slightly sweet tart aftertaste.

Bottle. Dark chocolate aroma, light sour roast. Dark brown, huge golden head. Very nice dry chocolate and licorice, a bit oats. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, mellow sparklyness. Really nice well balanced stout.

Bottle. Black colour with a disappearing beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, licorice and fruit. Flavor: roasted & sweet, a bit acidic, sweet licorice, caramel, cold coffee, faint smoke, some alcohol. A bit too acidic and unbalanced, but not bad.

Bottle, 50cl - Opaque black beer with a brown head. Aroma is sweet malty with notes of dried cherries, prunes, chocolate and oatmeal. Flavor is malty with notes of coffee, sour dried fruits, metallic hops and cereal. Beautiful aroma, disappointing flavor.

Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010 - Black with a tan head. Roasted and slightly smoky aroma with hints of plain chocolate. Roated taste with chocolate, coffee and malt. Tasty.

Weak aroma - roasty and a bit of caramel maybe. Black, dark tan head that didn’t last. Mild caramel, chocolate, and nutty flavors - nothing overpowering. Fairly sweet, not much bitterness. Full body, quite dark. Finishes a little weak for such a dark beer; makes you want more. Good drink-ability for it’s flavor. Soft carbonation. Don’t drink it cold.
