Big brown head. Opaque black body goes barely translucent dark red at edges. Aroma like an extinguished candle with chocolate and resin notes. Dry-acidic burnt extinguished candle taste with chocolate and wax notes. Some butterscotch, too. Fullish body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry-acidic waxy licorice aftertaste with resiny vinegary notes. Weird, and not really very successful. Ah well. (0.5l bottle. Batch #104.) thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2010
Bottle from Systembolaget. Almost black with a light brown head. Good coffee and chocolate aroma. Quite a bit of roasted malts flavours, hints of tart fruit. Lightish body. Highly drinkable. Ingevara (910) - SWEDEN - APR 8, 2010
Tar dark. Brown-tinted head, not very big, and it vanishes after a while. the flavor correspond very well to the commercial decription with soft sweet licorice and shy coffee tones. the aftertaste is smooth and licorissy, no burnt feeling at all. A beginners-stout that anybody can like. ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2010
Dark brown with a tanned head that leaves small lacings.
The aroma is of roasted malts, coffee and licorice. Hints of caramel and fudge.
The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of loasted malts, coffee, licorice and fudge. The finish is dry with notes of caramel and sweet licorice.
Medium body with quite a lot of fizzy carbonation.
This is a decent stout. I enjoyed it. Not very complex by any means, but quite tasty. pilsnerrogge (2948) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2010

Colour is black, head is small. Toffee and liquorice aroma. Flavour is toffee, liquorice, cold coffee and charcoal.
Black as a stout. But here ends the similarities. This one is thin and boring! Nisse666 (7426) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2010

F. fudge, english licoritse fudge, vanilla gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2010
Almost black with a large brownish head.
Roasted malt, toffee, some coffee, soy and licorice in the aroma. The same in the flavor plus a slight acidity. Body was about medium also medium carbonation. Short aftertaste. Drinkable but a little thin. andersand (529) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2010
Dark dark brown with a small beige head. Sort of sourish aroma with notes of milk, chocolate and lots of salty liqourice. Flavor is salty liqourice, light chocolate, lots of metallic notes (blood, metal etc) and some milky sourish and acidic malt off notes. Ends on a sweet and sour note with lingering liqourice. Smooth and medium bodied. Rather off and unbalanced. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2010
Pours a darkbrown color with a beige-white head. Aroma is a bit anonymous, but there’s roasted malt, coffee and light english hops. Flavour is pretty roasted with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and a quite nice bitterness. Mediumbodied. Quite okay beer!
