COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(On tap) Completely black and opaque with a light brown head. Burned malt aroma. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base, somewhat burned and coffeeish. Perhaps the finish is fairly tired with some malt bitterness. But decent. 110507

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Draught at Kbenhavnske ldage. Really black with dark brown head. Tarry licorice aroma. Dryish and well rounded. Solid roasty chocolaty malt, some grassy hops. Lingering salty finish. Good, more English style beer than most of the new danes.

Black color; thick creamy head. Light coffeish aroma. Good body structure, and for roasted malt lovers (not me) it has an excellent roasted malt flavor, without corners, really creamy. Long final. Very good.
