500 ml bottle sampled in 2011. Dark amber/brown body with a thin beige head. Good aroma of malt and caramel but not much more. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, burn sugar, slightly spicy and some bitterness. Fine body and sweet caramel malt in aftertaste. A bit one dimensional and plain after a few sips.

Medium pale brown head. Clear deep dark red body. Resiny roasty dusty caramel aroma with wooden notes. Very clear and fresh. Dry-sweet roasty resiny taste with fruity metallic notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty caramel aftertaste with burnt sugar and earth notes. Very nice. Highly drinkable. Vivid and clear. (0.5l bottle, Salling, Århus. Batch #133.)

yngwie (17186) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2011
Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It’s a clear, brown beer with a dense, small, light beige head. The aroma has a nice hoppy addition, with licorice, roasted malts, hints of coffee and a faint chocolate touch. The flavor is quite pleasant at first, but soon it turns annoying and unpleasant in a way I can’t describe. Some bitterness. Wet cardboard like, medium bodied mouthfeel. Shit, I like the aroma, then it’s downwards. Rapidly. 110524
