Among the worst I’ve had in Iceland. Kind of tastes like glacier water with mud in it. Pours golden. Clean finish with some chemical aftertaste. Bottle.

Aus der Flasche. Strohgelbe Farbe, wenig Schaum. Kräuter und Zitronenduft. Geschmack nach Gras, Zitrone und Getreide. Leicht und süffig.

CloakedDagger (2481) - - MAY 25, 2016
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a tiny, white head. Sweet malty nose, floral hops and a whiff of sulphur. Medium body, again malty, slightly metallic with a touch of cardboard. Carbonation is to the low side. But overall drinkable. 250516

Bottle from Keflavik Airport. Pours clear and golden. Not much carbonation, a small amount of foam disappears instantly. Aroma of raisins and hay. Smells a lot like raisins as well, not sure if it’s supposed to be like that. Slick feel. Have to go back to try another one.

berkshirejohn (6499) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2016
33cl bottle from a selection box picked up at Keflavik Airport. A straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; sweet grainy aroma, but with some herbal notes; the taste is similar with a rather stewed grainy body and some light herbal bitterness; then a dry finish with a honeyed sweetness. Not what I’d expect from a Pilsner, but actually quite an enjoyable beer.

larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2015
Big white lasting head. Clear pale yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity herbal spicy aroma with buttery notes. Dryish strawy buttery taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish wooden spicy aftertaste with buttery grainy notes. It’s decent, but not very good. (0.33l bottle, from Vinbudin Kringlan.)
