A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet musky. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of honey and a very dry hoppy end. omhper (25119) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2003
Bottled. Golden colour with firm creamy head. Papery nose. Very sweet, clean but somewhat yeasty. Sugary finish. Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 18, 2004
Very light, earthy, metallic taste. Golden. Quick finish, almost no aroma. Yikes - that’s one fast brew. TBone (17532) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 17, 2004

Darkish lager color, good foamy white head, lace. Metallic and sweet aroma with hints of ... maybe rye. Bitter flavor with malty body. Slightly bitter, hoppy aftertaste. Beats most of Finnish competitors. This one has interesting ratings: some of them claim this sweet, others - me included - bitter, different recipes or not homogeneous quality production? Or maybe it just sweetens when it is warmer.

Straw colour, brief head. Almost no aroma. Fairly fizzy palate. Initially quite a fruity estery taste. Soft malts too, but fairly thin watery body. Slightly papery in places. However, the whole litre was drinkable without any pain and anguish. Great salty gherkins to go with it!
Sold as Zhiguljevskoje for a German importer, with only the Stapan Razin trade mark on the label, but it should be the same beer.
Only a hint of sweet apples in the aroma. Sweet apple flavor, otherwise bland and virtually no hops. Slight glue aftertaste. Beer that makes you sad. Rune (12765) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2012
500ml can, as Stepan Razin Petrovskoe 1795, 4.9% abv, kindly shared by Elisabeth. Next-to-clear, straw coloured body, Low, white head. Fragile lacing. Smell of sweet and dry, pale malts. Herbal hops and malts in flavour added a kind of candy sweetness. Papery dry palate. Minimal carbonation. Rather bland impression. Below par for the style (session in Tromsø, 19.06.2012). rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2009
500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear golden colour with small white head. Malty aroma with some cardboard and notes of hops. Sweetish malty flavour with some crisp hoppiness. Goes well with Russian food. laiti (8469) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 23, 2014

Aroma is fresh with grass, grain, some buttery tones and distant metallic notes. Flavour has some butter, grainy tones and hints of grass. Dry finish. Refreshing and easy-going, better than I expected. Pairs fine with Vorschmack.
Complex Russian Lager. Lot of flavors battling around here - kind of grows on you after awhile
but by the end of the 16.9 oz you are glad you only bought one. Fruity, slightly malty aroma. Quickly dissipating white head - orangeish appearance. Kind of a rotten vegetable flavor - similar to some Marzens I have had. Overall, very yeasty. Not altogether bad - just not an everyday beer. Bit of a funky aftertaste.
