Sigmund (8028) - Tau, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2017
330 ml bottle, from Oddbins Aberdeen City. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 95. Orange to amber colour, large off-white head. Aroma of oranges and citrussy hops, also notes of sprucetips. The flavour is medium sweet with notes of Belgian ale yeast and spices, also distinct notes of oranges and fruity hops. The bitterness is firm, but not overwhelming. Good beer.

Hazy copper colour with thin head and low carbonation. Aroma and flavour have some bitter citrus peel and caramelised yellow fruits. Aftertaste is a little dry and yeasty and has some apricot jam too.

Overripe tropical fruits, candied mango, papaya, passion fruit, sweet citrus peel, caramel. Hazy amber, small, creamy, beige head. Medium sweet. More sweet tropical and citrus fruits, ripe mango, papaya, sweet, candied orange, molasses, bitter orange peel, soft carbonation, full bodied. Beautiful IIPA, rich and complex, well-balanced. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.

radassace (424) - SCOTLAND - SEP 9, 2017
330ml bottle from bottle shop in Peebles. Pours a mirky orange with a small beige head. Nose is Belgian candied sugar, fresh bread, biscuit, stone fruit and caramel. Thick sticky mouth feel. Sweet and malty up front. Candied sugar from the Belgian yeast and a bitter orange peel, grapefruit, mango and apricot hop syrup finish. Touch resinous. Fairly juicy. Bloody taste explosion.

romanstep (728) - Warszawa, POLAND - AUG 2, 2017
W nosie średnio/mało intensywnie ciasteczkowość, drożdżowość, trochę mango i melona w tle. Butelka do 10.2017

L?g?rement orang?. Ar?me faible. Fort faible pour un double IPA. Il n’y as quasi pas d amertume. Bi?re qui passe bien mais sans plus

Fruity aroma for a fruity taste. Slowly progressive bitterness as aftertaste. Sadly, the beer is almost flat. Doesn’t represent well the Imperial ipa genre (too soft for it)

Sweet honey taste. Some pime tree. Not bitter for a double IPA. Alcohol is dominating.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Good bitterness with fruity sweet tones. Citrus, resin, caramel, malts, orange peel, tangerine and grass. Very good.
