On tap at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, long lasting white head. Slightly unusual hop character, quite sweet,a little boozy and some slightly corny slightly syrupy fruit maybe pineapple in the finsh. A bit heavy, cloying, strong to be truly sessionable. Nice enough for a pint but not very exciting.

Bottle. Golden in colour. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Hoppy; grassy hops. Fruity; some fruit. Mildly bitter malty throughout. Disappointingly average. (2010-10)

Bottle. Pours medium dark honey brown with a medium white foam subsiding average. Scent is pale ale with notes of apples, light caramel, and floral notes. Taste is medium golden pale ale with loads of honey and light caramel properties. Some dusty flavors. Very good pale ale.
