A fairly stark effort with edges, bitterness, darkness but not a lot of sap or juices. Instead there is ash and a lught tar element. Interesting. Different. Reasonable success.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck. BB 2020.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, soy sauce, chocolate, nutty, dark malt, sweet malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160320]

Bottle at a tasting. Great amount of dark and dried cherries and alcohol and roasty chocolatey malty complexity. Quite balanced and moderate in body, light in carbonation. Lacking some complexity, especially considering the ABV, which is hidden well.

Cuso (8960) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 14, 2016
