For the first time, sample the fruits of a collaboration between Stewart Brewing and Hot Rum Cow magazine. An eccentric rye ale on tap and in bottles. Burnt orange to the eye with citrus and tropical fruit on the nose. Down the chute - medium bodied with a silky finish, smooth bitterness, fruity hops, sweetness then spice.

Bottle from Cork and Cask. Appearance - amber with an oily glow and a nice lacy head. Nose - beautiful apricot or is it peach or is it canned mandarin. Taste - spicy biscuits and oranges. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - absolutely stunning nose. The rest is good but the nose is amazing.
