6/20 it's basically a lager, bit of taste for 4% but really disappointing. Green mantle. Tastes like tenants ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint, cask. Scotch Hop. Pours pale yellow with a medium white froth residing. Scent is light citrus/late hops. Taste is medium cask ale smooth pale ale with medium really late hops. Light notes of wood/resin. Great session ale.

Cask @Cloisters, Edinburgh. Pours golden, thick-ish white head. Nose is great, caramel, cereal, slight floral, citrus fruits, biscuit, slight lemon, complex and lush. Taste is slightly sweeter than i was expecting from the nose and not as good as i was expecting, also thin.

On cask at Guilford Arms pours a clear orange with some creamy white head. Nose has yeast, orange, lemon, light cracker. Flavor has the same grist and dough and yeast, light candy, some tea. Finishes dry. Solidm

Pint at the Starbank. Pours gold with creamy head. Subtle hops on nose. Some bitterness but smooth. A good alternative to Deuchars. Sessionable easy drinking, not challenging but not meant to be. Decent.

Quite a fresh-tasting IPA, not too bitter, and enough going on in the palate to be interesting. In a pub which featured mainly standard mainstream fare, such as Stella, Carling or Peroni, this one was a very welcome sight/taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A "Premium pale ale" from a cask pour at the West End pub in Pitterween, Fife. Slightly hazy with an average cask pale ale head. Medium light body with light carbonation. Nearly as hoppy as a APA. Not earthy.

Pint after glorious pint at Val and Jonnies wedding Camus Darrach. Cask ale true IPA, nice hop, good colour, good bitterness. Nothing to complain about here.

Weefannybaws (130) - Barrhead, SCOTLAND - FEB 21, 2015
Pint in the Bull Inn, Paisley. Light golden ale with slight head. Hints of citrus on the nose. Not much in the way of flavour. Bland. May go well with crisps or nuts.

BlackHaddock (7232) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2014
Cask pint in The Guildford Arms, Edinburgh on 25th Oct 2014. Is this the new Deuchars? Seems to be all over Edinburgh, just like Deuchars used to be. Clear golden body with a good, well formed white head. The nose was toasted/roasted biscuity malts with some lemon and grapefruit esters. The taste was more bitter than the nose suggested, still a malt presence but the citrus notes from the aroma seemed to take over somewhat. Nicely put together and although a little too citrusy for me it went down well.
