Cokemonkey11 (998) - - NOV 9, 2015
Pint, scotch Hop, Edinburgh. Pours medium hazy Ruby with a thick tan head. Scent is minimal. Taste is nice thick ale yeast and a grainy, slightly sour finish. Good.

Cask @ The Foot of the Walk, Leith. Pours orange. Caramel spices on the nose, more of the same for taste but with a big pumpkin (not a surprise), slightly too sweet for me but nice.

Stuu666 (14094) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 5, 2014
Cask at Holyrood 9a. Pours reddish orange, nose is light pumpkin and sweet toffee, taste is similar. A bit unfair to this as I had after the excellent Elixir pumpkin beer.

stravale (3088) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - NOV 6, 2013
Cask @ Red Squirrel, Edinburgh [311013]
Dark amber, clear, very thin white head, some lacing
Aroma of caramel, light fruits, soft spicy, slight vegetal
Taste of caramel malts, spicy notes, some soft fruits. bitter quite earthy hops, dab of cereal, quite malty
Palate - Medium body, smooth, fairly sweet malts, good texture. Finish - fairly bitter, spicy, soft bitter caramel linger
Overall - Nice malts in here, not sure where the pumpkin is though -wasn’t that keen at first then got to like it

allmyvinyl (10823) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 1, 2013
Cask at The Southern. Clear deep amber with a good white head. Spice aromas, but also toffee and caramel. Gentle sweetness to the taste, good toffee malt and clove. Well balanced, and one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve tried.

AshtonMcCobb (6757) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 1, 2013
On tap @ the Southern Bar. This is the best Scottish effort at a pumpkin ale I’ve had to date. The base must be a Scotch Ale or an Amber. There’s a great malt backbone that is able to hold the intense spiciness (which as always is the foil for the pumpkin itself). Clove is the spice that comes through most on the finish.

Stuartyboy (1731) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - OCT 17, 2013
On tap at the doric Edinburgh new recipe for 2013 a golden Amber beer with an off white head light sweet fruity beer with moderate carbonation and slight bitter finish less malty and sweeter than other pumpkin ales

3.3
Cunningham (8163) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 8, 2012
