Cask at Holyrood 9a. Pours reddish orange, nose is light pumpkin and sweet toffee, taste is similar. A bit unfair to this as I had after the excellent Elixir pumpkin beer. allmyvinyl (10629) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 1, 2013
Cask at The Southern. Clear deep amber with a good white head. Spice aromas, but also toffee and caramel. Gentle sweetness to the taste, good toffee malt and clove. Well balanced, and one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve tried. downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2012
On gravity at Swindon Beer Festival, 25/10/2012. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Spicy pumpkin, sweet malts and a touch of citrus hop. Good.

On tap @ the Southern Bar. This is the best Scottish effort at a pumpkin ale I’ve had to date. The base must be a Scotch Ale or an Amber. There’s a great malt backbone that is able to hold the intense spiciness (which as always is the foil for the pumpkin itself). Clove is the spice that comes through most on the finish. mr_h (5560) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - OCT 31, 2012
Cask by handpump at State Bar, Glasgow - clear golden amber, thin white head, malty and pumpkin aroma, moderate carbonation, fruity flavour with pumpkin which lasts to the aftertaste, easy to drink, well balanced JohnRMurdoch (4882) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 31, 2011
Mini keg from Mr_H. Vegetable aroma. Amber brown colour, big foamy head. Definite pumpkin flavour quite smooth & well done but not my thing. BeerViking (4798) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2011
Cask at Twickenham beer festival, brown without much head, pumpkin and malt on nose, palate the same with the addition of a good hop balance and some clove. Peppery hop and pumpkin finish.
