Draft at Stewarts. Murky brown in color... not what I was expecting? Weak aroma of some toasty malts.... Taste is the same... malty. Very sessionable but kind of boring... Overall not bad.... probably a good example of what the beer should of tasted like 200 years ago Drake (13741) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 8, 2011
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear brownish red color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel. The taste is toasted malts, caramel, tart fruity notes, nuts, a faint bit of chocolate, and leafy hops. Thin medium bodied. Nice beer. Especially at that ABV.
