aroma of bourbon and vinegar. Tastes of cheap wine and vinegar. Thin mouthfeel. Not my kind of beer.
I was skeptical. Pour was light amber color, very small head. Sour cherry aroma with mild vanilla. This was extremely well done...tart sour cherry with a nice complementing, light bourbon flavor. Sweet enough to be pleasant, but the bourbon did not steal the show from the tart, vinegar cherryness. Perfect balance. GMCC2181 (1613) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 22, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2012 Draft at Stewarts. Poured into a tulip glass, brown in color, not much of a head. Smells good. Slight vanilla bean, little boozy with some sour/tart notes. Taste wise I wasnt sure what to expect. Light bourbon taste, little vanilla, nice grapes cherry taste that leaves a sour/tart after taste. Smooth, blended together very nice. Easy to drink. Overall: Wasnt sure to expect from a bourbon sour but this was enjoyable.
