As the description says, its piney. Reminiscent of Victory’s Hop Devil and Hop Wallop, probably falling somewhere between in IBUs. Pretty good IPA.
Draft. Hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma of pine resin. Very bitter from start to finish. BeerandBlues2 (13311) - Escondido, California, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Tap. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is citrus and piney hops, cereal and biscuit malt with tropical fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops, medium-high bitterness, tropical fruits, medium malt behind the hops and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation. Draft at stewarts. Poured into a pint glass, nice glowing red color. Small head. Decent aroma of some grass and grape fruit hops. Taste is a strong dry bitterness. Lots of grass and fruit. Clean and crisp, well balanced. Light to medium body, easy drinker... NICE IPA!
