Draught at the BrewPub: Aroma of caramel, floral and fruity hops, and roasted malt. Poured copper/amber in color with a small, creamy, dense, tan head, that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Ok lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of malt, slight spices, nuts, toffee, and some toasted caramel. Medium body. Average texture. Malt, toffee, and nut finish is lightly sweet. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - SEP 6, 2011
On tap at brewpub. Pours a medium brown color with a thin light tan head. Aroma had light sweet toasted malts with a little bit of nuttiness.
The taste was of sweet caramel with some toasted bread and nuts. Hardly any hop presence at all. A bit on the thin side with moderate carbonation. Bricks (1146) - Delaware, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Not good. Smelled a bit off, and although the initial taste of caramel was good, the overall taste was a bit disturbing. GMCC2181 (1613) - Newark, Delaware, USA - SEP 9, 2008

Sept. 2007 - Light chestnut pour, clear with decent head and lacing. Almost no aroma at all even when my nose got foam in it. This was a rather dull offering which made me deeply regret not opting for something more tasty. Bland roasted malts with a slight fruity sweetness and a faintly bitter lager bite. Not much else to say. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 8, 2007

Pours deep burny sienna with medium off-white head. Aroma is big corn flakes, roasty caramel malt, some toffee and hops. Reminds me of Fullers London Porter in aroma and appearance. Tastes caramel malty, with big almonds, some toffee and hops greet you at the finish. Very complex, very dense in palate, and very delicious!
