UPDATED: SEP 3, 2010 Tastes almost like a typical Bohemian Pilsener. Unfortunately, this is not one of my favorite types of brew. Nothing redeeming about it. I have had worse.

Lightly hazy straw-colored body, thin white head, spotty lacing. Light grainy cereals, some semi-sweet wheat, light citrus and grass. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, semi-sweet throughout, soft crispness in the finish.

Served on-tap at Stewart’s. A - Pours pale straw yellow with a nice pillow of two finger tall white head leaving light lace down the glass. S - Smells of biscuity malts, slightly fruity yeast, and some slightly dulled grassy hops. Simple smell but a very nice one.

T - Starts off with some chewy wheat slowly giving way to a mix of grassy hops, light fruitiness, and some very faint honey sweetness. The finish is a mix of light hop bitterness and chewy grains, lingering on the pallet for a short period of time. The combo of simple flavors and low ABV. make this one easy to drink.

M - Medium-Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Crisp, slightly chewy, feel that lingers on the pallet for a short period of time.

O - I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one but I really enjoyed it. It was extremely easy to drink and it had plenty of flavor. One of the better Kölschs I have tried.

A very light blonde in color (obviously). A nice lager with a sweet edge; quite refreshing and enjoyable (even though I don’t care for lagers). Note: Called "Wind Blown Blonde" at the time when I tried it.

michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Draught at the BrewPub: Aroma of malt, flowers, and slight hops. Poured yellow/straw in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that disappeared except for around the edges. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of grain, slight caramel, slight honey, and some pale malts. Light body. Lightly thin texture. Lightly sweet finish of grains.

On tap at brewpub. Wind Blown Blonde pours a pale, clear yellow with a medium sized white head. A grassy aroma with light fruitiness in the background. Mild flavors of grassy wheat, malt, and a hint of hop bitterness. Smooth and crisp.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear liquid golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of fruit, grains, light hops and barley. Taste of barley, light hops and a touch of fruit.

bfeldmann (1050) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - APR 15, 2009
Growler during the eagles game. Aroma was of grain grass and fruit. Flavor was much the same little sweet for my liking. Good grass hop to it would have been a great lawn mowing beer. Not bad.
