A good Porter from a regional brewery I had not heard of before. The coffee is not so evident. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was off stale coffee, and vinegar. Flavor similar, waterly, slick mouthfeel, light acid, seems to be headed towards imfection. Dogbrick (13132) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 30, 2015
Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing. Coffee, chocolate and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, coffee and mild chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
