COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The carefully selected ingredients, a traditional fermentation process and four weeks of cold storage set this speciality apart from the rest. Its grainy, full-bodied character and mild bitterness make the Stiegl Spezial a particularly rich alternative. 12.5°

Can. Pours a lambent gold with a shallow, fine-grained, creamy white head. Nose is bread dough, cheap fruit candy, and to be honest not much else. On the tongue, there’s a little grain, a little spice, a little sweetness, a little bitterness -- and again, not much else. Some malic acid on the finish. This is beer for people who don’t like things to taste like much of anything; the perfect beer for people who just have to have plain oatmeal in the morning.

Bottle from Beer Cartel 030915. Middle of the road beer - not great but not terrible either. Clear in the glass with a soft white head. Straw and grain in the aroma.

Clear golden appearance, medium head. Malty aroma, medium level of hops, hay presence. Overall average Helles style.

TedE (1424) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 3, 2015
Shipped from Beer Cartel, Sydney. 500ml bottle into glass. Sweet/spicy malt nose. Clear golden beer with solid creamy white head. Light carbonation. Easy drinking beer with grainy malty finish. Very late citric hops, quite delicious actually. This style of beer is designed to be drunk quickly and often I think.

Bottle. Deep gold with a white head. Grainy aroma, a little toasty, vague lemon and spices. Sweet and quite rich grainy and lightly toasted malt, not much bitterness but a bit spicy at the end. Not a lot of hops but there’s a harshness to them that’s not helpful. Not all that good.

Etwas duenn und vor allem brotig, dabei jedoch durchaus sueffig und mild. Trinkbar, laff, ganz ok. Etwas Spezielles kann ich hier nicht erkennen.
