From the 12oz bottle purchased at 1 for the Road in Wexford, PA. Much better than the low ratings would indicate and worthy of the Goldbrau title. Works well as a thirst quencher and is mildly satisfying. The pour produces a fine and lasting head, minimal nose, and a mild hop taste with no bite. Try a second taste after eating something salty and you’ll find the flavorings to be distinctly different.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, small white head that disappears quickly. Smell malts, grains, hay, straw, some sugar. Taste malts, sugar, yeast, grains. Low to medium carbonation, low body.

Pale gold color with a white head. Aroma is caramel and bar room floor. Taste is pretty clean. Some sweetness. Good body but light enough to not leave you full. Finish is pretty smooth. Bitterness takes care of the sweetness at the end. Overall, pretty good.

Clear, with a pale yellow colour. Nice head with a medium carbonation. Inviting aroma, but not too much to offer the nose. Medium intensity, refreshing, flavors include a sweetness, some malt. A very nice and smooth flavour which I will have again. Appreciated

Draft at Glunz Bavarian House. Pours a deep and clear gold with a huge white head. Nose is bready and grainy, soft hops. On tasting, very malt forward with bread crusts and soft bitterness. Pretty narrow profile, not awful but just not really outstanding. Alright, not great.

Bottle from Total Wine. Aroma and flavor of a smooth lager. Lighter on carbonation than many, which I appreciated. Very drinkable and smooth. Fair beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml can from the LCBO. pours goldenwith a lasting white head. nice lookin lager. fairly non-descript lightly sweet, puffy malt nose. flavour shows more adjuntiness. palate is a little rough with an akward progression from sweet malt to bitter hop. no that good.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz can this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with an enormous creamy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet citrus and lemongrass. The flavor was tangy and sweet artificial grape and lemongrass. Medium finish and light body.
